For the past two years we have represented higher education institutions who deliver higher and degree apprenticeships at World Skills UK Live – the UK’s largest, interactive apprenticeships, skills and careers event held at the NEC in Birmingham. We have the pleasure of doing the same again this year between 21-23 November and will be located in the Education Zone in Hall 17.
UVAC encourages members and non-members alike to consider taking part and details of how you can engage with World Skills UK Live organisers (specifically around apprenticeship) can be found here. We also invite Members to join us on one of the 3 days of the Show and / or send relevant higher and degree apprenticeship collateral and materials as some of you have done in previous years for us to give away and promote.
Last year we collaborated with the National Apprenticeship Service / ESFA to produce key facts on degree apprenticeships for young people and for teachers and careers advisers to act as marketing collateral and ‘take-away’ items. They proved to be a huge success.
Member Organisations can find these resources here.
This year we have added to this work by producing Guides to the Top 10 Higher and Top 10 Degree Apprenticeships, both of which will be made available digitally to those who attend the Skills Show this year.
