Following the success of two workshops delivered in partnership in February, two further workshops are being launched by the Strategic Development Network (in association with UVAC) to help organisations as they enter the Higher and Degree Apprenticeship market and look to grow and upscale their delivery. These are facilitated and active workshops and give participants the opportunity to share their practice and approaches and hear from the experiences of other HE providers who are at different stages of delivery.
Many HEIs are facing two key challenges – first, understanding the role and relationship with the employer and its implications on the design and delivery of apprenticeships.
Second, understanding how to navigate the national apprenticeship systems, processes and funding and their own organisaton’s systems and requirements.
As a result, SDN and UVAC are hosting workshops in May 2017 on the following days, designed to help you get to grips with these two areas:

Understanding apprenticeship systems, processes and funding as an HEI
Tues, 9th May 2017 – London
This one-day workshop will give you a clear overview of apprenticeship systems, processes and funding, how the Skills Funding Agency operates, and what this means for HEIs setting up their own systems to deliver Higher and Degree Apprenticeships.
