Additional Support
In addition to our general membership support and publication of the UVAC Journal the following are the activities UVAC would propose to undertake to support the whole higher education sector deliver the Degree Apprenticeships demanded by employers and required in order to deliver the Government’s productivity and social mobility agendas. The work is divided into two main elements

Degree Apprenticeship higher education sector support
Including a strand of work on technical education and its impact on progression to Degree Apprenticeship
Development
Advising upon and supporting the development of the Apprenticeship system.
Service delivery will be via:
- Surgeries
- Briefings
- Webinars and related Q&As
- Guidance and templates
- Support for employer groups developing Degree Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessment Plans
- Support for QAA on the development of the Degree Apprenticeship Characteristic Statement
- Monitoring and advising on ESFA and Institute for Apprenticeship systems
- Establishment of a Degree Apprenticeship Advisory Group
- Tracking and supporting progression into higher education from apprenticeship and technical education
