World Skills UK invite our members to promote their higher and degree apprenticeships to over 70,000 young people. UVAC will be present throughout the event but the organisers are keen to include greater representation from HEIs to feature their apprenticeship provision as a way of encouraging schools and colleges to think about the progression opportunities in apprenticeships for all young people post-18.
WorldSkills UK is a partnership between business, education and governments. It raises the prestige of apprenticeships and technical education and inspire more young people to consider these as career routes.
WorldSkills UK LIVE is the UK’s largest annual apprenticeships, skills development and careers event attracting over 70,000 visitors. Hosted at the NEC Birmingham, the event offers first-hand experience across a huge range of skills and invaluable careers advice and would be a great addition to your local activity.
Universities, Colleges and schools attend from Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and all over England.

The ‘Education Zone’ is where the focus is on colleges, universities, training providers and governmental organisations, guaranteeing high footfall and opportunities for quality engagement.
