UVAC launches 2026–2027 Communities of Practice programme

UVAC launches 2026–2027 Communities of Practice programme

UVAC is pleased to launch its 2026–2027 Communities of Practice (CoP) programme, offering members opportunities to connect with colleagues, share expertise and explore the issues shaping higher-level vocational, technical and work-based learning.

Evolving from UVAC’s Knowledge Networks, Communities of Practice build on a strong foundation of collaboration and shared learning. They bring together UVAC members and colleagues from across the sector to exchange experiences, discuss emerging developments and explore practical approaches to common challenges. Through these online meetings and collaborative discussions, it is hoped that members will be able to share effective practice, consider policy and evidence, and identify opportunities to strengthen provision and support learners, employers and providers.

Through participation, UVAC aim that members should be better able to:

  • Understand developments relevant to their area of practice and their implications for delivery.
  • Learn from approaches used by colleagues in other organisations and settings.
  • Identify practical actions or ideas they can take back to their own teams and partnerships.
  • Build relationships with peers facing similar challenges.
  • Contribute their experience to shared discussion and future priorities.
