State of the Nation – Last of the academic year
You are invited to register for UVAC’s upcoming State of the Nation on Friday 31st July 2026 | 12:00 – 13:15
On the last day of the academic year we take a look at the skills and apprenticeship policy fluctuations and the impact on HE delivery in 2025/26 with one eye to the future on matters of growth, collaboration, partnerships, new products and new models of delivery. The biggest curve ball to cover and estimate impact of, is the change in government following the resignation of the Prime Minister which could have major implications for skills devolution, the apprenticeship budget and other policies. We will look to these likelihoods and UVAC’s response to them.
We will review the findings from our member survey and what this means in terms of future UVAC practical support.
Our guest speaker is Julie Hyde, Director of External and Regulatory Affairs at NCFE who will appraise us of the future development and roll out of V levels in the context of the Post-16 Pathways Implementation Plan and what this means for HE.
