Celebrating 25 years of championing higher level vocational learning!

Celebrating 25 years of championing higher level vocational learning!

Since the late 90’s UVAC has become one of the most authoritative voices in the sector of education and training in HE and a leading expert on all aspects of the policy and operational requirements of higher and degree apprenticeships.

That’s quite something!

Through 2024 we have a range of activities and events to commemorate and showcase our achievements including:

  • Publishing monthly reflections by the UVAC board, giving their take on the sector and the impact of UVAC’s work over the last 25 years.
  • Launching series of thought-provoking concept and discussion papers: taking the opportunity to reflect, in a scholarly way, on the higher and degree apprenticeships conceptual journey and wider skills policy; and to contribute to the increasing body of knowledge in the field of apprenticeships and professional education, delivered by higher education providers.
  • Recognition for individuals and organisations working in the sector at the annual National Conference in November. Bookings are now open for our flagship event on Wednesday 6 November at the ICC, Birmingham and online, where we will be looking at the theme of Back to Future in apprenticeships and technical education.

For the latest news on all these initiatives and how to get involved, follow our socials and sign up to our weekly newsletter.
