Dr John Lanham will be facilitating the second Degree Apprenticeship Knowledge Network (DAKN) meeting on the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship. With more than 20 universities involved in delivering the PCDA, this is a unique grouping and one that is intended to promote approaches to delivery, explore new pedagogies and discuss the issues that are materialising from provision at different levels of maturity.
Join the University of Derby’s Associate Professor of Work-based Learning, Ann Minton, who will be setting out the known challenges for RPL practice in the PCDA. For example a key questions to address is:
Is the learning at the right academic level given the KSBs are not “levelled” and need to be thought of in the context of the role?
(Ann Minton)
