New Code, Old Challenges, Novel Practices:  Exploring the implications for flexible learning practices of the new sections of the Quality Code

New sections of the UK Quality Code for Higher Education are due to be published at the end of October 2013.  These include Part A setting and maintaining threshold standards and B6 Assessment of Students and the Accreditation of Prior Learning.  This Conference will provide an opportunity to hear from the QAA about important changes signalled by the new sections and to consider the implications for institutions.  The focus for the Conference will be particularly, but not exclusively, around credit, standard setting, flexible learning and assessment.  There will be an opportunity to engage with other practitioners and explore current developments in credit and its use.
