As apprenticeship policy, funding and assessment continue to see major shifts UVAC’s upcoming CPD programme has been designed to help members understand the impact and prepare for what lies ahead.

The CPD programme for the new academic year, 2022-2027, is now open for registrations and brings together 30 practical sessions designed to help members and colleagues navigate policy change, strengthen delivery and prepare for what comes next.

Practical support for members and teams

The programme covers the issues currently shaping apprenticeship provision and has a strong focus on practical insight and implementation. 

Speakers include members, policy makers, Ofsted representatives, audit specialists and other experts, alongside practical examples and experience from across the sector.

Sessions will explore issues including preparing for inspection, responding to funding-rule changes, redesigning curriculum in response to assessment reform, and developing new Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) and Apprenticeship Unit offers.

It has also been designed to support collaboration across teams. Successful apprenticeship delivery increasingly depends on strong links between curriculum, quality, finance, systems, employers and leadership. Bringing colleagues together through the programme provides an opportunity to build shared understanding, consider different perspectives and explore practical approaches to common challenges.

All relevant colleagues from UVAC member institutions can register for the sessions, allowing member organisations to select the topics most relevant to their organisation and individual roles.
