The UVAC Summer Webinar Schedule has now been published and can be downloaded HERE. You can book onto any of the webinars by using the links in table A – Webinars by Date, or in Table B – Webinars by Topic.
Our schedule contains 14 webinars on all aspects of apprenticeship delivery, including planned updates on the pending 2018 to 2019 Funding Rules, and new webinars on audit and the evidence pack, KPI monitoring & governance,and costing a trailblazer apprenticeship.
As ever, we are running our more detailed Deep Dives for staff new to apprenticeships, including updated sessions on documentation and subcontracting, this time focusing on subcontractor management.
All of our webinars will include good practice from across our apprenticeship provider network and practical tips and more tools to use and adapt for your own delivery.
NEW for this Summer Schedule are our UVAC Briefings for key teams across the university based outside the apprenticeship hub team, but also essential for the smooth running of the apprenticeship programme. This set of webinars will also be useful for any staff new to apprenticeships and all are welcome to register.
The Briefings are intended to provide an overview of key roles and responsibilities, documents and evidence requirements. The aim of these new sessions is to ensure that wider teams. less familiar with apprenticeship rules, definition of quality and compliance requirements are able to understand their role in all three and can actively support the University’s quality and compliance programme.
We have developed three sessions for the summer schedule:

- UVAC Briefing For Academic Teams Supporting & Evidencing Apprentice Progression – From Initial Needs Analysis To End-Point Assessment Via The Tripartite
- UVAC Briefing For Admissions And Enrolment Teams – Apprentice Eligibility, Data & Evidence Collection & Compliance
The Briefing sessions are set out together at the end of the Schedule Table B (webinars by topic) and highlighted in yellow in Table A (webinars by date). We have also prepared a summary document for you to attach and send to colleagues across the university, or to cut and paste in to an email for distribution. You can download this HERE.
