The Quality Professionals Awards mission is to inspire and raise the aspirations of all quality and compliance professionals within the sectors. The aim of the awards is to elevate the status of quality assurance and compliance as a rewarding career path and demonstrate the professionalism of the many people in these roles who make a difference to our sectors.
The awards ceremony, which takes place on 26 June, will be celebrating the achievements of the finalists and winners and shining a spotlight on excellence in practice.
There are 11 award categories and UVAC is delighted to be sponsoring the ‘Quality Professional of the Year’ category. This category is important to UVAC because it is always a joy to celebrate and recognise the achievements of those individual professionals who champion quality of programmes, quality of delivery, of projects and who have an overall ambition and drive to secure excellence in skills provision.
UVAC is thrilled to celebrate our educators and innovators. UVAC also loves that it is colleagues from colleges, training providers, employers and universities that are being championed today. This category looks to those powerhouses of ingenuity, of creativity and those who are not afraid to innovate and experiment to ensure the best outcomes in skills and employability training for learners, apprentices, and employers. Quality speaks to so many different facets of provision and to every role involved in delivering apprenticeships, skills, and employability programmes. Navigating new regulatory, inspection or financial requirements does not define wholly what quality is or should be in FE, skills, and employability training. Rather, quality speaks of personal ambition, of individual vision and mission, and above all, a belief and commitment to a skills system that delivers growth in business and opens wide progression routes including to professional and managerial occupations for everyone.
