TRAILBLAZER INVITATION: Multi-Agency Safeguarding Apprenticeship

Cambridge and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking trailblazer group members to work with them in developing a Multi-agency Safeguarding Apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is aimed at developing a widened pathway for careers into Safeguarding roles across the partnership and reducing the skills gap between professional and administrative staff.

Traditionally, Safeguarding Professionals have had a primary career in Education, Health, Social Work, Local Authority, Policing or Voluntary/ Charitable Sector before progressing into their specialist safeguarding role. It is anticipated that by putting ‘Safeguarding First’ this apprenticeship would create a dynamic and collaborative new workforce that would possess a multi-agency safeguarding skillset and enhanced lens of understanding for partnership working which would ultimately lead to better outcomes for vulnerable populations.

If you are interested in hearing about this apprenticeship, or would like to join the Trailblazer Group and work with the Cambridge and Peterborough CGC in developing their Safeguarding Apprenticeship SEE FURTHER DETIALS BELOW:

The initial Trailblazer meeting is provisionally scheduled for Wed 11th November 3-5pm via Microsoft Teams.

You can view the slides from the initial scoping meeting HERE
