This Halloween UVAC invites you to a day-long Sector Spooktacular—a continuous stream of insightful sessions exploring the Government’s eight Industrial Strategies on Friday 31 October. 

 

A series of back to back, dip in and out insightful sessions exploring the Government’s eight Industrial Strategies. Its intention is to provide everyone in membership and their staff, particularly academic leads, business development, marketing and strategy with an easy to digest overview about what government is saying are the priorities for action to drive growth in these sectors.

This event is designed for course leaders, faculty staff, business development teams, apprenticeship leads, and workplace learning specialists looking to shape or expand their skills programmes in partnership with employers.

Expert Insight

Sessions are led by Rebecca Rhodes, UVAC’s Associate Director, who brings a unique blend of government and higher education expertise. Formerly responsible for regional and sector skills policy in the government body responsible for skills with a £30M annual innovation budget, Rebecca spearheaded local, regional and sector-based skills action plans with key stakeholders and departments across government.
