The Social Worker (SW) DAKN has been running over the last couple of years and continues to grow during 23/24 as a community of practice. Face to face and on-line events for this network have been undertaken and hosted by UVAC members across different geographical locations. 

 

The SW DAKN currently is made up of UVAC members/practitioners from different Higher Education Institutions who are passionate about the quality, development, and sharing of good practice for the Social Work Degree Apprenticeships. 

 

The DAKN is supported by guest speakers from both internal and external stakeholders and professional bodies and more recently the Office for Students in relation to the External Quality Assurance of Integrated Degree Apprenticeships (EPA).
