This coming week global experts in vocational education and apprenticeship systems are gathering for the 9th International Research Conference on Apprenticeships: Future Global Trends, hosted by the International Network on Innovative Apprenticeship (INAP).
Taking place 8th and 9th May at The Fielder Center, Hatfield, this event brings together policymakers, educators, and researchers to discuss the evolving landscape of apprenticeships.
Dr Mandy Crawford-Lee, Chief Executive of the University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC),will be delivering a key address on ‘Navigating Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Policy and Practice in England.’ Her session will explore the latest developments in higher and degree apprenticeships, their role in shaping workforce skills, and the policy shifts affecting learners, employers, and education providers.
The conference will address several topics on apprenticeship, including: Making apprenticeships more attractive to potential learners and to employers, apprenticeships and the future: the economy, apprenticeships and the future: society, apprenticeship curriculum, standards and delivery, governance, including stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities, teaching and teachers in VET.
