UVAC has its own dedicated CFO toolkit and resources about to launch and has just announced a new date for a one hour briefing session on Friday 29 August 2025.

David Lockhart-Hawkins will present a quick look at the newly launched CFO toolkit and its component parts for anyone who needs to know and advise finance colleagues and senior leaders on its use and value. 

This is followed by a fuller 2-hour session on 29th September 2025.

The CFO toolkit contains guidance written specifically for Chief Financial Officers and leaders to demonstrate the potential for apprenticeship provision as an essential product within the Higher Education space, but also give practical tools to budget, forecast and deliver with confidence. 

Through a series of guides and practical tools, the toolkit will give greater assurance to HEIs of the revenue, the timing of revenue and profitability of programmes. It also includes case studies of effective financial models of delivery from within the HEI and non-HEI space and also addresses how to take account of risk in delivery. 

David Lockhart-Hawkins has created the materials on behalf of UVAC for members to use and will deliver/lead both sessions.
