INVITATION – DEGREE APPRENTICESHIP SURVEY
A question for you: If Degree Apprenticeships are meant to be an opportunity for all – a social mobility opportunity – how are they being communicated?
At Open Days, UCAS Conventions and other similar events for prospective students (and increasingly their parents / carers), staff from higher education institutions are being asked about Degree Apprenticeships. Moreover, they are being asked if their institution has any apprenticeships.
Dr Jamie Mackay is conducting a survey which aims to gain some insights into how Degree Apprenticeship opportunities are being communicated to prospective apprentices and other audiences and would really appreciate your input.
Analyses from the data collected will be presented by Jamie at the upcoming Degree Apprenticeships conference with UVAC at Sheffield Hallam University on 27 June. Therefore, he is collecting responses until 5pm, Wednesday 20 June. Responses will be kept anonymous although Jamie would also be keen to speak with colleagues about their responses, if they are willing to volunteer: Jamie is really keen to get some constructive insights and share great practice!
