CDA hosted its first Degree Apprenticeship Knowledge Network meeting online on Wednesday, 13 May for those institutions delivering or waiting to start delivery of the PCDA.
You can access the recording HERE and the slide deck HERE.
You can hear from Derby, Staffordshire and Portsmouth universities about their approaches to designing and delivering the police constable degree apprenticeship including their use of technology in response to CV-19.
Staffordshire University’s Institute of Policing also shared a useful resource: a one page onboarding process illustrating where apprentices’ interface with the learning technology and IT familiarisation.
Access their 7-St?ep Onboarding Process resource HERE.
They also shared a video giving an overview of how Staffs have embraced technology in its overall teaching approach but also to accommodate the challenges presented by Covid. See the video of its digital journey on YouTube.
