COVID-19 WEB FORUM FRIDAY 29 MAY

COVID-19 WEB FORUM FRIDAY 29 MAY

At our weekly Covid-19 Forum on 29 May we were joined by Daisy Hooper, Head of Policy & Public Affairs at the Chartered Management Institute to hear the latest on CMI’s discussions with government about the Senior Leader Apprenticeship and CMIs wider supporting activity.

You can read the UVAC Literature Review report Establishing and Communicating the Benefits of the CMDA and SLDA: Defence of the Senior Leader Standard written by Mandy Crawford-Lee and hear more from Mandy about the range of UVAC communication channels by listening to the latest forum webcast HERE.

Our next session on 5th June will focus on the results of our May Temperature Check Survey and the support from UVAC in response planned for during June and July, plus our usual round up of latest guidance and policy.

YOU CAN REGISTER FOR NEXT FRIDAY’S COVID-19 SESSION HERE

At Friday’s Forum we also shared the latest Apprenticeship statistics, including the latest from the DfE May published return. This highlights the downturn in apprenticeships starts except for higher and Degree Apprenticeships. You can access this and the list of non-integrated apprenticeships from Level 5 -7 with their starts volumes from the RESOURCES slide in the forum slide pack:

You can also download the updated version 2 of the UVAC Furlough Template which now reflects the latest ESFA Guidance.
