Entries for the National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2026 are officially open, and this year promises to be bigger, bolder and more inspiring than ever.

We’re happy to share the details of the awards from theNational Apprenticeship and Skills Awards Team

These prestigious awards, delivered by the Department for Work and Pensions, shine a spotlight on the individuals and businesses driving real impact through apprenticeships and skills. From outstanding apprentices, to forward-thinking employers and dedicated champions, this is a chance to recognise success, share your story, and gain regional and national recognition.

In 2016 the awards welcome back the two T Level categories, celebrating the achievements of both students and employers who are shaping the future workforce. There are also some exciting changes to the student category, so check out the guides on the website to find out more.

Best of all, it is completely free to enter the awards and all applications must be made through the awards website

Dates for your diary 

  • Monday 20 April 2026 – The awards website is open for applications. Webinars to explain the awards process in more detail, including hints and tips on completing your application, are also available on the website.
  • Friday 22 May 2026 – Deadline for applications.
  • October 2026 – Nine face to face regional ceremonies will be held to celebrate the regional winners.
  • Wednesday 25th November 2026 – The national ceremony takes place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
