Information from the Skills Funding Agency: Register of Training Organisations
Information from the Skills Funding Agency: Register of Training Organisations
Shortly, the SFA will publish the June refresh of the Register of Training Organisations (the Register).
For HEIs who are intending to delivering apprenticeship standards or degree apprenticeships in the 2015 to 2016 academic year and who have not yet been awarded a funding contract with the SFA, entry on the ROTO is a pre-requisite for funding and the SFA is advising HEIs in this situation to take this step now. Further advice on SFA processes for funding grant applications will be released later in the autumn. This is a separate process to successful access to the ROTO which does not provide access to funding.
The Register opened for applications on Friday, 16 October and will close at 5.00pm on Friday, 13 November. SFA will publish updated guidance to the Register of Training Organisations section of the website on GOV.UK .
This opening is for new applications and for those organisations that are required to enter the Register, as detailed in SFA Funding Rules 2015 to 2016 (paragraphs 8 and 9).
Our pre-qualification process covers the delivery of education and training services, delivery of information advice and guidance, and the development of services.Where relevant there is specific advice for HEIs on how apply HE activity to the SFA framework.
For further information on the ROTO and this application round, please email Register Help, and for wider queries on higher apprenticeships, or higher apprenticeship funding, please email[email protected].
