Employer Toolkit: Supporting Accessible and Inclusive Apprenticeships

Employer Toolkit: Supporting Accessible and Inclusive Apprenticeships

A new employer toolkit is now available to help employers support disabled apprentices. This toolkit demonstrates the simple and cost-effective actions to make Apprenticeship programmes open to disabled apprentices, and the business benefits that follow.

Developed by NIACE (the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) with the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and with employers including Barclays, Tottenham Hotspur FC and the National Theatre, the toolkit includes six case studies, and informative and inspiring videos.  Please promote it to any employers you work with.   For further information, please email Ian Bond at NIACE –[email protected]

You can find the toolkit here or as part of SFA’s weekly update of of business-critical and useful information.
