We are delighted to announce that we will be continuing our work to support the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) in the ongoing delivery of Higher Apprenticeship (HA). We will undertake a series of activities to support education, knowledge exchange and increasing the understanding of Higher Apprenticeship among partners including employers, universities, colleges and professional bodies. One specific activity will be the organisation of Higher Apprenticeship fairs, which will promote and encourage wider delivery networks and increase knowledge of Higher Apprenticeship frameworks among those currently not involved in HA development and delivery. These fairs will take place in spring 2014 and we are currently working on the details. More information will be made available as soon as we have it.
In addition to the fairs, we will also be working with NAS to develop guidance on how partners can get involved in Higher Apprenticeship development, outline processes for development of Higher Apprenticeship based on existing good practice and develop a briefing document on funding options for HA. We will also continue our HA engagement and advocacy work and will continue to support the work of the HA Champions. We will of course keep UVAC members updated on developments as the work progresses.
