T Level Developments and Progression to HE 

This letter, from the Rt Hon Robert Halfon MP, Minister for Skills, Apprenticeships and Higher Education, addressed to university vice-chancellors reflects on a number of barriers to admission onto HE programmes for T level students.

Although there has been a doubling in the number of HE providers recognising T levels in their admissions policies (from 70 to 140), by accepting T levels on at least one course, there are still issues relating to uncertainty of admission and whether course entry requirements are clear and accessible.

 

The UCAS information gives the latest information on achievements and next steps for the two T level cohorts that have finished their programmes in 2022 and 2023.
