Here are your joining instructions for UVAC’s national conference on 30 November 2023 at the ICC, Birmingham and we are looking forward to welcoming you to our popular annual event.

Getting to the ICC
Whether you are arriving by train, travelling by car or live locally the ICC website has plenty of useful information about how to get to the ICC https://www.theicc.co.uk/find-us/
On Arrival at the ICC
When you arrive at the ICC, there will be plenty of people to welcome you and direct delegates to our conference. There is a cloakroom service, located just off The Mall, for your bags and coats etc.
Our reception desk will be outside Halls 9 and 10 where you can pick up your lanyard badge and goodie bag, before heading off into the exhibition hall for refreshments
Timings for the day
Doors open at 08.15 and you are welcome to join us for breakfast before the conference starts at 09.00.
We break for refreshments at 11.40, and for lunch at 12.50, with an afternoon break at 15.25.
Conference closes at 17.00 with a drinks reception (until 6pm) for those able to join us before heading home.
Plenty of sessions to choose from
We have 38 sector experts presenting on the day. In addition to keynote speakers, and whole conference presentations, each of our breakout sessions offers you a choice of 5 workshops.
There’s no need to book just attend the sessions you want on the day.
If you intend to join AI for the Average Joe in Education, a fully interactive practical workshop using ChatGPT, you will need to bring your preferred device (phone or laptop). If you decide on joining this session please ensure you have downloaded ChatGPT prior to conference.
ALL content is available to ALL delegates post conference, meaning that you have every opportunity to access the huge choice of informative and engaging talks, presentations, and workshops on offer after the conference.
