UVAC’s upcoming AWD modules

You’ll find details of all the FREE CPD modules currently listed on the DfE fully-funded Apprenticeship Workforce Development (AWD) Programme, including a number of sessions led by the UVAC team HERE

The AWD programme is currently offering a range of FREE courses to support all providers, focusing on areas of intervention, prevention, action planning and wider professional development. The programme aims to focus on the withdrawals of apprenticeships increasing the achievement rate of all apprenticeships to the DfE target of 67% by 2025.

It is FREE to register and complete these courses.

Improving curriculum design for apprentice success

Planning the integration of on and off-the-job training

Designing and Delivering Effective End Point Assessment throughout the Apprenticeship

Explore how every role in the provider can embed EPA successfully throughout the apprenticeship programme design and delivery and contribute directly to the retention, satisfaction and success of apprentices during their programme.

Planning and maintaining high quality and effective teaching and training

In this course, you’ll explore how to identify and address issues in the quality of teaching, improving the retention, satisfaction and success of apprentices.

Enhancing teaching and training skills

– 21 March

Explore how to enhance teaching and training skills to contribute directly to retention, satisfaction and success of apprentices during their programme.

Preparing Apprentices for End-point Assessment

– Delivery staff

– 22 March

Identify and address issues in end-point assessment preparation, contributing to the retention and success of apprentices.
