UVAC Associate International Membership

Following interest generated by the UVAC journal Higher Education, Skills and Work-Based Learning from international universities, UVAC has introduced a new category of membership – Associate International Membership.

UVAC welcomes non-UK universities into associate membership.  Non-UK universities receive the following benefits from UVAC associate international membership:

  • Member discount on the UVAC Annual Conference – which in 2011 will feature international comparisons and presentations on international practice in the field of higher level skills, professional development and work-based learning.  This year’s conference theme is ‘Work-Based Learning and Higher Education Policy and Practice: The New Political and Financial Environment’ and will be held at the Royal York Hotel, York, North Yorkshire on 17th – 18th November. The conference will include a focus on the research agenda for higher level skills and work-based learning.  All accepted papers for workshop sessions will be eligible for submission to the UVAC journal, Higher Education, Skills and Work-Based Learning. The conference provides opportunities for the dissemination of examples of good practice from across the UK and internationally through interactive workshop presentations.
  • Hardcopy and online access to UVAC’s international journal Higher Education, Skills and Work-Based Learning (HESWBL)
  • Copies of all UVAC publications and free or discounted rates at UVAC events.
