The Quality Enhancement Network (QEN) is designed exclusively to support QAA subscribers in enhancing and sustaining effective management of quality and standards in higher education. We host a number of QEN events each year, which are free for subscribers to attend.
This event will enable participants to share best practice in achieving quality in apprenticeships delivered by higher education providers, receive updates on the policy landscape, and give feedback to policy makers/advisers and contribute to the next revision of the sector guidance: Quality Assuring Higher Education in Apprenticeships: Current Approaches.
It will include case study examples from the sector and a workshop facilitated by JISC to consider digital technologies that are used, or are needed, to enhance higher and degree apprenticeships.
These one-day events aim to increase your knowledge of quality enhancement of apprenticeships delivered in higher education and will be an opportunity to foster important dialogue between professionals and practitioners, as well as a chance to enhance collaborative opportunities across institutions and with external networks.
If you would like to deliver a case study on one of the themes mentioned please contact Alison Felce, Standards and Frameworks Officer, [email protected] or Ruth Burchell, [email protected] with a 150 word synopsis. Please include the name of the presenter, institution, role and theme you would like to speak on.
These events are exclusively for QAA subscribers and are free to attend.
