Join the EAGLE Focus Group to Shape Apprenticeship Degree Innovation

UVAC members are invited to participate in a focus group session to help shape the inaugural EAGLE program offered by the International Center for the Apprenticeship Degree (ICAD).

The EAGLE Program (Executive Apprenticeship & Global Leaders in Excellence Program)—will be a transformative initiative designed to support senior leaders in higher education, policy, and workforce development, who are seeking to design and scale apprenticeship degrees.

About ICAD & the EAGLE Program

ICAD is dedicated to advancing apprenticeship degrees as a scalable, high-quality pathway to skilled professions. In partnership with Reach University, the National Center for the Apprenticeship Degree (NCAD), and other global leaders, ICAD is working to ensure that apprenticeship degrees become a cornerstone of higher education and workforce development worldwide.

ICAD will be co-hosting their inaugural convening with the University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC).

The EAGLE Program, launching in August 2025 at the University of Oxford, is designed to equip senior executives and policymakers with the tools to lead institutional transformation by integrating work-based learning and apprenticeship degree pathways. Through mentorship, executive training, and global insights, participants will develop strategies to drive institutional excellence and student success in an evolving education-to-workforce landscape. Taking place at the end of the General Convening, this will be an elevated experience, designed for an even deeper dive into the apprenticeship degree landscape.

Why Your Input Matters

Whilst refining the programme, ICAD wants to ensure that EAGLE delivers the most relevant and impactful content for senior leaders. Your insights will help them tailor the programme to address the real challenges and opportunities in higher education and workforce development.
