Dr Sarah Bloomfield, Lecturer in work-based learning, The Open University describes why the network she attends is invaluable to her:
‘Being part of the UVAC CMDA knowledge network is invaluable for me in my role as Qualification Lead for the CMDA at The Open University. The topics discussed in face-to-face network meetings have been wide ranging, including end point assessment, curriculum content, the new Standard, research and scholarship, and recognition of prior experiential learning. And those conversations have continued beyond the meetings, within the really supportive community of practice that the meetings has spawned.’
UVAC offers support to all members through the delivery and facilitation of knowledge networks which aim to:
● Share of best practice
● Enhance of learning and teaching pedagogy
● Problem solve
● Update on policy
● Collaborate
