We are delighted to announce that this year our conference will be sponsored by Middlesex University. Middlesex have been at the forefront of work based learning development for several years and are heavily involved in the development of Higher Apprenticeship at levels 4-7. They led one of the 20 initial partnerships awarded funds under the Government’s Higher Apprenticeship Fund which developed a Higher Apprenticeship in Construction Operations Management at level 5. Working with the sector and developed in response to identified employer demand, this is now being delivered in partnership with FE colleagues across the country. Middlesex are also currently working on Higher Apprenticeship development in the following sectors/areas:
We are also very pleased to announce that the University of Derby (Corporate) will be sponsoring our delegates bags in 2013. Like Middlesex University, the University of Derby (Corporate) has an established track record in the delivery of work based learning programmes and accredited qualifications that improve the key capabilities of companies. Current activity includes the development of a BA Hons degree for Work based Learning Practitioners as well as delivery of a Higher Apprenticeship in Mineral Products Technology.
