Following the Funding Rules Update and the Deep Dive webinars on subcontracting yesterday, both sets of slides are now available:
UPDATE – UVAC-subcontracting-210317
DEEP DIVE – UVAC-subcontracting-DD-210317
As part of the Deep Dive session reference was made to two older guidance documents produced by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) that may prove useful introductions for those subcontracting for apprenticeship delivery for the first time – a sample due diligence checklist, and a guidance to skills supply chain management:
due_diligence_checklist -EXAMPLE 1
Both documents are now obviously out of date with latest policy and you will need to ensure that you have met the requirements set out in the 2017 and 2018 Funding Rules. The subcontracting rules section can be found at para 121- 155 ( pages 20-24 ) of the Rules for Training Providers. The rules can be accessed by clicking here.
