The UVAC ACBE Knowledge Network:
Provides a collaborative forum for higher education (HE) practitioners, staff, and academics to collaborate and discuss apprenticeships, the HE skills landscape and other technical and professional qualifications.
This network is supported by the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC), the Construction Industry Council (CIC), the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM).
SUMMARY:
The ACBE knowledge network seeks to bring together construction and built environment academic teams with their quality assurance and apprenticeships teams to share good practice, address challenges and seek to deliver innovative solutions to:
This will be done in collaboration with the professional institutions, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and Construction Leadership Council (CLC), proving a forum to engage with and deliver elements of the national skills strategy, and built capacity and capability to deliver the competences essential to the future of this sector, including the Building Safety Act.
We will draw on expertise from and partnerships with industry, the professions, the higher education sector and beyond to achieve these aims.
